Jannis Lenz studies Directing at the Filmacademy Vienna, where he also worked as an assistant for Wolfgang Murnberger and Michael Haneke. His films have been screened and won awards at international festivals like Edinburgh, Rotterdam, Sarajevo, Palm Springs, Montreal or Tampere. His Bachelor- Degree Film, the Crossmedia- Project WANNABE, won the EFA Award at Clermont-Ferrand and got nominated for the European Film Awards 2017.
