Tarah Stabe, raised in Hamburg, Germany, discovered her passion for visual language in her youth through analog photography. Multiple film-related trips abroad, which she untertook independently and as an assistant director, encouraged her to commit herself to filmmaking. She is particularly interested in exploring essayistic narrative forms and their classification in socio-political contexts. Since 2024, she has been living in Berlin and studying directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.
