Interlude d'été

Sara Van Acoleyen comes from a small village in Flanders. As a child, she continually invented stories or played theater in the courtyard. When she turned eighteen, she wanted to study cinema. She chose LUCA because of the freedom to experiment with the medium. During her first two years of studying, she mainly directed short films. It was only during her last year at LUCA that she understood that documentaries are the format she likes the most. She also has a great passion for cinematography. She now participates in other projects as a chief operator, while also working on her own documentaries.
