Olaa Zhyzhko was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1993. She studied culturology at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Olaa worked as an editor and producer at Vogue Ukraine, focusing on youth and alternative culture. After becoming a mother, she left the fashion industry. In 2021, she entered the Fémis film school in Paris, where she studied directing.
