A former investigative reporter, David André is a director and screenwriter. His films have regularly won awards. He wrote and directed Une peine infinie, histoire d'un condamné à mort (France 2, Albert Londres Prize), Chante ton bac d'abord (France 2, Fipa d'Or, released in theaters, nominated for the Lumières Prize), Les Stratèges (Canal Plus), Du côté des Vivants (France 2), Les lycéens, le traître et les Nazis (France 2, in competition at Fipadoc). Winner of the Fémis Screenwriting Workshop, in 2022 he co-created an original fiction series for FTV/Slash produced by Lionfish and distributed by Wildbunch (Nina and The Pig), which was selected for the La Rochelle Fiction Festival. In 2024, his documentary series Dale l’Infiltré, filmed in the United States for Canal Plus, was presented in competition at the Cannes Series Festival.
