Opéra de Paris : Roméo, Juliette, Thomas et les autres
Réalisation
Priscilla PIZZATO
Before taking charge of the Olympic Games ceremonies, stage director Thomas Jolly tackles composer Charles Gounod's masterpiece Roméo et Juliette at the Paris Opéra. An opera is at once a dream factory and a puzzling addition of sometimes contradictory demands of singers, orchestra, chorus and technique. Its production over the course of a year reveals the psyche of its director, with its flashes of brilliance and impatience, its humor and sensitivity.
