Plein air

Réalisation
Jérémie DANON

Open air features individuals in rehabilitation. Transformed by their experience of captivity, they take a new look at this rediscovered world. Their testimonies are decontextualized from reality through the use of video game sets. These environments are the result of a simple question: "Where would you like to be now? ».

Jérémie Danon is a student at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. In his work he is interested in the individual, their identity, and their place within society. He meets people and connects with them, immersing himself in worlds unlike his own. He tries to convey the time spent and shared with these people through the means of recordings and videos, which allow him to present their words and their stories. The resulting work not only documents, but transposes a common experience.
