The film follows the Divertimento Orchestra during the preparation of an exceptional concert at the Philharmonie de Paris: 120 musicians, including 30 teenagers from the suburbs, with 400 choristers, including 200 amateurs. As they struggle to meet this challenge, an intimate portrait of the conductor Zahia Ziouani takes shape.

Director and author of documentary films for television and cinema since 2002, Emilie Therond works mainly on the theme and values of transmission.

In January 2016, Emilie Therond directed her first film for the cinema: "Mon maitre d'école", a documentary that pays tribute to her teacher, to transmission and to the values of the school of the Republic. Producer Francois-Xavier Demaison and distribution Disney

In October 2022, "Etre Prof", his second feature film, will be released in cinemas. It plunges us into the lives and struggles of three teachers committed to changing the destiny of their pupils: Taslima in Bangladesh, Sandrine in Burkina Faso and Svetlana in Siberia. Produced by Winds Films, France 2 Cinéma, distributed by Gebeka.

For television, Emilie Therond has directed numerous documentaries and reports, mainly in collaboration with the Capa agency or the production company Elephant.
Among the films written and directed for television: "Les héritières" (90'), a documentary on the destiny of four women who decided to take over the family business, "Les hommes de l'ombre" (60') on espionage as told from the inside by members of the DGSE, "Seul comme un juge" (60') made after the Outreau affair, on the difficulties of the job of investigating judge.

Antonin BOUTINARD ROUELLE

Writer-director since 2016, Antonin Boutinard Rouelle also shoots and edits his films. He first directed many brand content films (Polka Magazine, Ministry of Ecology, Memorial of the Shoah, etc..) produced by CAPA. Between 2018 and 2022, he directed with Benjamin Montel several documentaries for France.tv Slash, including a portrait of Clara Luciani, the documentary "Lujipeka, Les Montagnes Russes" and the series "Putain de nanas", Audience Award for Digital Documentary Series at the Luchon Festival. For France 2, he directed with Laurent Follea in 2020 "Schnock, la vie en vieux" (70') and co-directed in 2018 "Le Plus Bel Ami de l'Homme" (90'). In 2022, he directed “Samedi soir” for France 5 and France.tv Slash, produced by Capa.
