This call for projects is open to production companies until Friday, October 3rd, 2025.

The International Pitches session will take place during the next edition of the festival, in Biarritz, from January 23 to 31, 2026.

International Pitches run for two days, spotlighting 24 projects in development and production during four sessions.
The projects presented are ambitious and eclectic, and above all, have high potential.
They cover a broad spectrum of storytelling and subjects.

DOC À LA PAGE 2025

◤DOC À LA PAGE! highlights a selection of twelve non-fiction books, pitched by the rights managers of the publishing companies to a panel of audiovisual producers. It offers a space where true stories and narratives, written and filmed, may dialogue and strengthen each other. This session will be followed by meetings between publishers and documentary industry professionals.

DOC À LA PAGE is organized with the support of SCELF, CNL, BIEF, CFC, Fondation Jan Michalski and Zinema Zubiak.

PITCHS STORY LAB 2025

The Story Lab is about five journalists deploying their point of view to make their first documentary, moving from investigation to quest. For five months, they have been following workshops on the dramaturgy and the artistic direction of their project. They are ready to pitch it to a panel of producers at Fipadoc 2025.

Come and discover the singular and extraordinary stories of these first films. This workshop is proposed by professional training school Le Socle, in partnership with Fipadoc.

REGIONAL FIRST FILMS PITCHES 2025

EUROPEAN FIRST FILMS PITCHES 2025

This session works as a springboard for future first or second documentary films to find support in every stage of their production. It offers a creative framework, both challenging and protective for European new talents. Following the tailor-made guidance of tutor Agathe Berman, each selected team presents its documentary project in a live presentation in Biarritz. Addressing an international audience, each project holder benefits from expert feedback as well as specific individual meetings with a panel of professionals.

This session is part of the Doc Around Europe Generation, organised in collaboration with the Doc Around Europe festivals network: Biografilm (Italy), DOK.fest München (Germany), DocsBarcelona (Spain), Makedox (North Macedonia), Verzió International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival (Hungary).
