(Avant-programme) Grandmas Project – Sarmale cu ciuperci

Paula Onet affirms herself through film projects that are both linear (documentaries and docu-fictions) and nonlinear, transdisciplinary (multimedia installations) presented and appreciated internationally, in numerous festivals and art galleries. Her short film AS YOU LIKE IT premiered at Karlovy Vary Film Festival and was screened in more than 40 festivals around the world (Dok Leipzig, Tiff, Zagreb Dox, etc), awarded for best picture, best documentary, best short film, and the audience's prize. Multimedia projects include the interactive installation 4GEN-WOMEN, about family bonds and intergenerational transmissions. It was shown at the famous National Art Gallery in Prague and in other galleries in Turkey, Romania, and Spain. Paula participated in the 2014 Venice Biennale exhibition, representing Romania with the team of the project SITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION, an 11-screen installation presented in the Romanian pavilion.
