Vergiss Meyn Nicht - Chênes solitaires
Réalisation
Fabiana FRAGALE, Kilian KUHLENDAHL, Jens MÜHLHOFF
The Hambach forest in Germany was due to be razed to make way for the expansion of an open-cast lignite mine. To postpone the deadline, activists are occupying the treetops. Film student Steffen Meyn spent months there filming daily life in the huts and the struggle of the environmental activists. In 2018, during a large-scale police operation to evict them, Steffen fell to his death.
