Sonia Gonzalez has directed several films about women issues: « Revolution, riot grrrl style » (Arte) about women who revolutionized rock in the nineties (COVEN Festival Berlin, Sound Unseen Minneapolis, Jacksonville Documentary Festival, Zinefest Glasgow) ; a web series for Arte Creative about girls playing videogames ; she’s also the co-author of “Princess, pop stars and girl power” directed by Cécile Denjean - Arte. She also directed the short feature « Desperately Seeking Stagg Girls » selected at Brooklyn Girl Film Festival, Selection Firsts at ECU Festival, GAZE #5 (Artist’s Television Access, San Francisco). She also directed episods of the series “Dream the future” (Planete+) and “Historic greatest lies” (RMC).
