Timo Großpietsch is a German film maker and documentary film editor from Hamburg. The trained advertiser studied media studies and folklore studies at the University of Hamburg, as well as photography and documentary film at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. The film maker, cameraman and cutter has since then been making documentary films for cinema and NDR television. Timo Großpietsch has received various prizes and awards for his films. His documentary films have also been shown at renowned film festivals. In addition to his work as a documentary film maker and editor, he holds teaching contracts at universities in the field of documentary film and dramaturgy.
