After an initial career as a writer in the Canal+ group's art department, Marion Angelosanto turned to directing, penning several crime stories for television (Non élucidé, Enquêtes Criminelles, Indices, Instincts criminels). Then came auteur documentaries: a miscarriage of justice (Rachel, l'autisme à l'épreuve de la justice), the public hospital as a sick old man (La fabrique du soin, which won a prize at FIGRA) and a village where future wind turbines are causing trouble (Quand le vent tourne). In 2022, she developed Proche Paris, charme atypique, a feature film project during the Fémis documentary workshop.
