Fishing and fish are the cultural, tasting and economic identity of Getaria (Gipuzkoa). But fishing no longer attracts young people, trawlers are scarce, and crews must rely on Senegalese fishermen driven to Europe by overfishing in their waters. In the streets of the town, you can still taste the grilled fish that made its reputation, but until when?

I was born in Getaria, in 1988 and I graduated in audiovisual communication from the UPV. After working in different audiovisual production companies, I began my journey 3 years ago as a freelance filmmaker.
I made my first documentary in 2020, "Basotik itsasora" and this is my second project, "Itsasoak pizten gaitu”, awarded the silver biznaga at the Malaga Film Festival 2023.
