1982, the Cold War - A 10-year-old American girl, Samantha Smith, writes a letter to Soviet leader Yuri Andropov. She tries to convince him to stop the antagonism with her country. Celebrated from both sides, she offered a pacifist perspective and became an ambassador of an unforeseen rapprochement between the two countries.
